They keep calling and no one answer the phone...Who is this? I didn't want to be called again from this number~!!!!!
Jenny..I'm always surprised when people take the time to post a comment...BUT....don't take a moment to scan earlier posts. See then you wouldn't have to ask "who is this?"You would know from reading other posts. Try it next time!
I got a phone call from this number. The man asked to talk to owner of the company. I answered and he spoke English which was hardly understandable. He hang up when I said I couldn't understand him. This is definitely a scam call.
Received a call on my landline from guy with East Indian accent; told me he was from "E-Tech Life," or something like that - unclear. Told me they had detected that my computer had downloaded things it shouldn't have. He wouldn't accept my telling him to take me off the list - he kept me on the phone and tried to get me to describe my key-board. I finally hung up on him, after repeatedly telling him I have no reason to trust that this is not a scam. Hope staying on the line didn't create more troubles. My landline is not connected to my wi-fi.
5/5 CID 'Bridgeville DE' - several rings, disconnect, no msg - typical scam call pattern - from ALL the above posts this DEFINITELY is a scam call - do not give any info if you answer - recommend block, if possible
Called today multiple times in a row when I did not answer. Caller ID sometimes showed "Unkown Name" and sometimes "Bridgeville, DE". No message was left, although the same number called more than once, one call right after the other. Based on other reports, this is clearly a scam/fraud caller. Block this number.
Most of you are saying the same things: an aggrresive, snarky foreigner phishing and calling mostly medical businesses and threatening the person with silly threats, then trying to insult them. I got the call with "Unknown Name" on CID, I sorta knew it would be a scam, but answered because I do emergent volunteer work at home, and some people move here and never change their out-of-state phone numbers. I heard flat silence and hung up, then came here. But they called my unlisted home phone, I don't work for docs any more. They're really stupid to try scamming or intimidating staff at a doctor's office, those women can leap tall buildings at a single bound and stop bullets with their bare hands!I worked for docs for a very long time, and staff that answer doctors' office phones or interface with the public are smart, trained to be very protective of doctor and patient privacy, and as with you folks, very professional and polite while fielding calls, disengaging him with his every attempt just like the dragons in a moat. ;)). You did good!I don't do social media, don't buy stuff online and never downloaded an app. But I get the same calls y'all get from the medical brace scammers, political scam calls, the scam computer virus calls, the "yes scam" and so on. They must have gotten that kind of shared list as well as doctors' lists. Very few scammers are clever, most are pretty unimaginative and pedestrian, and most of them have CIDs that are easily recognizable so I ignore. He's a moron to insult you, must have realized he had nothing left to lose because he wasn't going to get anywhere. He must be pissed about getting a ton of rejection and derision from y'all. LOL. Thanks for making me smile, ladies!
ROFLMFAO!! Omigosh... But seriously: this page says they're using the Windows virus type scam, but on the next page after this page, this CID started calling doctors' offices, demanding personal information about the doctors and selling something else. They keep devolving. Your dad has made my day, Kay! Still grinning!
