Just received a call from 3033300995 that told me I missed a court appearance and that an officer of the peace had come looking for me and would be back later. I could also arrange to call 8666365430 if I could not be there when the officer arrived. Since I've been getting a lot of collection calls for the same individual, not sure what to think.

Got a call from this number this morning, caller ID said "sunny001" and they left no message.

Got a call this morning, it's the first one and hopefully the last one, but some how I don't think so! LOL! It's a pain in the donkey I know, but on the other hand it's quiet amusing at their stupidity where many of us are concern. Example, with the exception of some, who's going to answer unknown names, unknown numbers, unavailable, or anything else that don't identify themselves when they call? As well as, answering numbers in general that one doesn't know? Be safe folks, don't answer the phone just because it rings. Let voice mail or your answering machine pick it up first, if it's from a family member, friend or anything that has to do with your life etc, call them back! Stop falling for the pranks! If everybody would just stop answering these dead beat callers, a lot of this would just go away! This is what I do, this is what works for me. I let voice mail pick up, I haven't set up my voice mail---so anyone who calls, gets the auto male or female voice. Person you're trying to reach isn't in, leave your name, number, and a brief message at the beep! Then it beeps! Can do the same thing with the answering machine, I turned my answering machine off, because of the aggravation. I know who's calling because of caller ID. But as for these dead beat callers, these answering machines, voice mail blocks them from actually talking to the person they're trying to rip off. Don't set up your voice mail or answering machines--let the auto voice be what they hear. If all they get is the machine, they're going to eventually give up and stop calling. You've got to get on their level and think like they do! Now think about this for a moment. People will set up their voice mail, or answering machine with their little messages in their own words, in their own voice. A live person has set up their machines. Now, in the minds of the dead beat callers they're thinking--wow, this is good opportunity! Why? Because you care about who calling you! You want to know who's calling and care enough to go to the trouble to set up your personal messages in your own voice and in all likely hood you're going to check your messages, you're going to check who's calling when the phone rings and in all likely hood you're going to answer it--because you're a caring person! Using your bad habit's against you. They're banking on you taking the bait you set up, because you care enough to set up voice mail. Delete you voice, personal messages and let the auto voice do the work for you. Believe me, they'll stop calling after about a week, 7 or 8 days of getting nothing but auto voice! Never pick up, never answer the phone--they'll eventually stop calling! It's a cold call and they haven't the time to continue on that path. Like wise, I have all the time in the world.

I received a phone call from this number at my place of employment, they asked for me by my first and last name and then hung up not sure what this is about ...guess if they call back again they'll go on hold.

STATED MY MASTERCARD WAS LOCKED AND TO STAY ON HOLD TO BE TRANSFERED TO SECURITY. [***]!

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME, WAS REALLY CURIOUS AND FUNNY I COULD SAY BECAUSE I REALIZED THAT THEY WERE CALLING ME FROM MY OWN NUMBER AND I THOUGHT "WELL ANY GHOST IS CALLING ME", AT THAT TIME Y KNEW THAT WERE SCAM AND I HUNG UP BUT THE NEXT CALL AS SONN AS I ANSWER IN SPANISH, THEY SAID "POR FAVOR" AND HUNG UP.HELLO SCAMMERS: COULD YOU BE LESS STUPIDS AND LEARN SPANISH? OH, I AM SO SORRY , I KNOW THAT YOU GUYS DOSEN'T HAVE A BRAIN, MY APOLOGIES.

Why am I wasting my time doing this. These numbers are nothing but scams period! Our local news station can't stress enough that when these calls come in. DO NOT CALL THEM BACK. It's been known that you would be charged "roaming" charges on your bill. Just keep in touch with your phone provider.

Received a call from this number at 9:07 AM today. I answered with "Hello"...repeating it twice and then hear a recording - something about..."we've been trying to reach you and there is a lawsuit against me from the IRS." Yeah, right! I pay my taxes every year. Number has now been blocked so hopefully I won't receive any more calls.

I just got the same sort of call. I know that I have no skeletons in the closet..lol. But I don't believe a company would call you informing you that you will be served court papers but also that you can call them to discuss the situation. I would think you'd be referred to an attorney if anything.

I've gotten to the point that I won't answer if I don't recognize the number, unless I'm in the middle of a situation where I'm expecting calls from numbers I don't recognize (like when my mom was in the hospital). If it's important, they'll leave a message. If it's a scam, they may or may not call back but eventually they stop. And for me, it's talking to those people that annoys me, not getting the calls.
