Got a call verifying my address and telling me that they had to send me a new medical card. First they needed to know the name of my bank.

Received a call from this number claiming to be with "Child Dream foundation". The call came in Unavailable, and was on a Sunday afternoon. Said there was a center for the foundation in Casper Wyoming, but very doubtful will look into this further. Should be receiving something in the mail, but didnot commit to anything. Hate to find out it's a scam but my instincts tell me it is....SHAME ON THOSE FEEDING ON THE SYMPATHY FROM THOSE THAT CARE! Maybe next time I'll have A LITTLE FUN just to see how far they'll take it!

It was a call that starts out as a recorded message with an offer to lower your interest rates on your credit cards and if you want to talk to a person you have to hit "9". So I did. The person with a very distinct accent starts with a standard introduction, then I said that I wished to be taken off the list as I am on the do not call registry. He said "Why should I help you out, my phone number is on the do not call registry" and proceeded to get hostile. I said thank you, I will file a complaint against the company and hung up. I tried to call back to get the name of the company and the phone number listed on CID may be bogus as it just rings and rings.

That type of scam has been common in Japan for several years now, and people still fall for it. Mostly, the victims are elderly and the scammer claims to be son or daughter or grandson or granddaughter. It is known in Japan as the "ore, ore" scam (It's me, it's me" scam). Glad you were not victimized.But the reason I came to this webpage is because I just got a call from that number. But it was not a scam, it was my sister, and she was calling via Skype. Normally I ignore calls from unknown numbers, but we were just testing our Skype-to-phone connection and I told her to call me using Skype, so when the phone rang I knew it was her.Apparently, whoever called you must have been using Skype. Probably makes it more difficult for the police to track down the caller when it is placed through Skype, I guess.

They callled me up and claimed that I had committed a cyber crime. I was like I am not and the supervisor was not an actual supervisor either. Told me to take my computer and stick it up my butt except that is not the word they used. They also could not verify the computer that they was involved in this "so called" cyber crime. I told them to put me on their do not call list but I doubt they will. They had a really strong accent and it was not hispanic. It sounded more like it was coming from India. They have been doing this for some time now but most of the time it would come up as a PRIVATE CALLER!!!

Received a call from this # at 915pm. After a brief pause, a guy with an Indian accent came on the line and said they were calling from "All Windows Access" and that they had been receiving reports from my computer every time I log onto the internet that the computer is infected with spyware and viruses. He asked if my computer was currently on, after which point I asked if there was a number I could call him back at. He gave me 646-843-6296 (another number that lists several complaints) and asked me to select "Start,then Run" on my computer. Duh, I'm not that stupid... I said I'd call them back and hung up. They proceeded to call back 5x until I took the phone off the hook. They did actually leave a voicemail with another number to call back 646-843-6254.

Received the call from this # @ 3:43 p.m.. Absolutely silence on the line after I answered.

They have been calling every day, no message, and as soon as message comes on they hang up. I tried to call back but it just rang
