Just got a call from this number on my cell phone. A recording (female voice) said that my debit card had been declined. The message went on mention speaking to someone about it--and then I heard a dial tone. I thought I would research the number before deciding what to do about. Looks like another scam.
It's the number Skype displays when the user does not put in a phone number. It is used by scammers, such as a Microsoft scammer that just tried to call me to say my computer was infected. Sure.. I work in IT. Don't fall for it. They are all scams from this number. I have the number stored in my cell phone as "Scammer calling" just to have some fun with them.
Oddly enough I got alerted a different thing than the rest, saying that it was a legal office and someone had filed a complaint against me or something. It was an automated message that said to click one to get connected to the actual office so i did, music was running for a minute and then it hung up. I tried calling the original number and it kept saying the call could not be completed
Person tried to tell me that my computer was being hacked and that I needed to give them my computer information to allow them to reset my microsoft account or they would be forced to shut down my computer. When I called her out on the fact that microsoft and my computer were not inherent ly related, dared her to shut down my computer she hung up. It was a really bad computer gen voice to boot.
Just call Scott Bandy at 248-825-1753. I swear on my Grandmothers grave that he is the manager of one of their sister companies. I know this BC he is my ex-husband, coward and a woman beater. That's why he sits behind a computer he can't face people and trust me he is the scum of the earth!!!

I called the Chase number on the back of my card and they said they had NOT called me, said it was scammers. I had two calls on my machine asking me to call them back.

Claim to be discover card. I don't have that disreputable card and haven't had one for 20 years, so they have no reason to call me. Very suspicious.
