Well they called me just like all the others and I was told to push 3 so that the calls stopped and then the guy on the phone said I had just authorized them to bill my card 59.00$ 5 times a day for the next 5 years. So I told him I was calling my attorney about this as well as local police. He got very mad and would not hang up so I could make out going calls had to use my Cell. Some form of the Government needs to do something about this crap. I am also on the Do Not Call List. They are starting to make me mad and a wast of time.

I got the call on both my work and cell. I don't feel bad about hanging up, First it's a recording and I have gotten this call about 5 times a week X 52 = alot of call. They might as well say Hi this is Peggy just like we all see on the TV. Recordings don't understand bite me so I hang up as soon as I hear "Hi this is". Where is our government when we need them to protect us so we can be more productive and get something done in the day? Oh Ya they have stock in these Co.s and they are most likely political backers so we the bisiness person are on our own to fend for ourselfs.

Got a call today with the recorded message - pressed 9 to get a real person. Melissa from Houston tried to get my CC#'s and SS#'s. Wasted a bunch of her time and tried to gather more information. She gave me Visa Global Services number as a call back and also claimed to be with Chase Card Member Services at one point. I reported the number to donotcall.gov. If you got a call from the same number - PLEASE REPORT IT. Only if there are enough complaints will the FTC be able to do something about it. The number might be spoofed, but when I called back, I clearly get some computer (not a person or business).

My mom called me to find out if I recognized the number 304-445-5940 (WV area code) because I'm in WV and she's in NJ. She was afraid I was trying to contact her from a number other than my home number and she missed the call. No message was left on the answering machine, though. I'm glad I looked up the number and saw the other posts. I have informed her not to pick up when the number shows up on her caller ID in future.

Yep, they called again. Recorded message pretending to be from my CC company. I hit 9, got a live person. I asked them if they were my CC company. No direct answer, they said they 'work with my CC company'. I asked if it was a marketing call, they said no. I explained that if it was a marketing call it was illegal. They hung up.

304-445-5940 no nessage and if you try to call the number back you get a fast 2 beeps and then a recording that the number cannot be reached

They called me today. I don't answer numbers odd looking numbers. Machine picked up and they didn't leave a message. I am also on the Do Not Call list for both home and cell phone numbers. I am going to report them to the FTC today.
