I just had one. I'm in Colorado. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize either.
I received the call, a automated mail voice was on the line, I pressed 1 and a woman answered the phone and wanted my credit card number and exp date right off the bat. She sounded like I was disturbing her or something. Very rude lady. When I asked to be removed she said "no" and hung up. I reported the number to the FCC.
Just got a call from this number. Glad I didn't get to the phone in time. Immediately went to the computer and used reverse white pages--unlisted. Then, I tried this site. Glad I did. I won't be calling them back.
Received a call from this number last night. Pressed #1 to speak to someone. Asked the girl how she got my name and number and what cards I had that she was referring to. Her answer was, "Good question, good-bye" and she hung up. Tried to call back, and the number was disconnected.
Just received a sketchy call from this number. A woman's recorded voice telling me that i qualified for a lower interest rate on my credit card. It asked me to press 1 to speak with a live rep. I asked rep which card he was referencing, he had no info and answered "all of them" vaguely. I then hung up
Just received this call. I didn't answer. Based on what I've read here, I'm glad I didn't!
I got this called today and I when i answered the lady told me that she can lower my credit card interest. She said she needed my Card number to confirm my ID. I said that I could'nt give it to her because she should have it on file. She said that my number was xxx xxx xxxx which is true, and she said that i lived in Fairfax (I live in falls church) I said that one of her statements she made was wrong. She said that she didn't have time for this, so she hung up.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
