just received a call from same number, they said my auto insurance is or about to expire... Hung up, and call the number back and it was already disconnected

Left message on my VM about reducing CC rates (Funny, I don't currently have one...) After reading these posts I'm thinking someone is using VOIP and spoofing a disconnected number, just to get your info to scam you (or me... or whoever they can get).

yep also got a call from this number.....as soon as I answered no one was there....scams.

I just recieved call from this number, caller ID was Lawrence Sandri, auto matic caller wanted to know about credit card debt and that offer to reduce would expire soon. Press 1 to talk to someone or press 2 to remove. I pressed 2 then called the number and a guy named Greg answered. He told me some one was using his number as a call back number. This is a scam I am sure to get your cred card Num.,pin, etc.

Someone or SomeTHING called from this number at 9:22am and didn't leave a message. Smells like a telephone solicitor to me, and I am on the "National Do Not Call Registry"

Got a similar call again today 305-654-1842. Starts off with "heather" from Account Services. I think this is their 3rd try now. Definitely a scam of some sort. Why won't the phone company shut them down?

I keep getting this same call, but this is the first time that a caller ID has shown up. 305-654-1842. "This is credit card services and it is important that we speak to you regarding your interest rate, please press 1". I did. He pretended to be with my credit card company. I asked which one. Then he was going to help me work with my company to lower my rates. I asked for the name of his company and he responded Accouont Services. I said the name of your company is account services? He hung up. This is the second loser that has hung up on me:(I also called back and it is "disconnected".

caller ID showed "Florida" and the 305 654 1842. I answered and it was a female robo voice with a completely bogus message about my car. I don't own a car. This is clearly some f'd up scam.

They call me and when I answer its something about "Your automobile warranty has or is going to expire. Please don't be caught driving without this important coverage. Press 1 to be connected to a customer service representative. I did and spoke to a rep that said they had no power to remove me from their system but if I hear the recording AGAIN, to wait till the end and there is an instruction to press 2 or 9 (she didnt know) to be removed from the system. We shall see...
