My father has been getting calls from this number also. Same deal, acai berry. He told me that he heard about it on the Rush Limbaugh show. He wanted the free trial. They told him $400 to get into the system and $100 per week. FREE???? If anyone has the ability to contact Rush, let him know that these scammers are now dragging his name through the mud. I'm sure he wont be happy, and maybe he'll get the word out. He definitely has the means. Stop by their website and throw in the phone number for your local congressional representative, maybe even your local police or even the White House! I'm sure a few annoyance calls to them will put an end to all this.
7-14-2009Received 2-3 calls from this number just this evening. I hung on the line the last time to see if anyone would talk to me, but nothing so I hung up.
what is the number on the bottle, maybe if we all start calling it they will feel our irritation, or at least tie up thier lines.
I was told 954-920-7677 is the local number in FL for this computer generated telemarketer.
This number keeps calling me and I've had it with all the telemarketing calls. I'm now working towards a plan. When they call now, I answer very gently making them tune into my voice. Once I'm sure I have them concentrating on my weak voice, I SCREAM AS LOUD AS I CAN AT THEM. AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Then hang up immediately. I'm hoping to damage some ear drums. Try it, if nothing else you get some satisfaction.
Called my mobile phone several times. First two-three calls there was no one there when I answered. Then tonight they called and a woman with a foreign accent sounded annoyed, saying hello and I said take this number off of your calling list immediately and hung up. After seeing the post about the Acai site..I think I know where these *&#^% got my number!! I too didn't sign up, but put in info. NEVER give any info over the web..ever!! All of the sites that sound sleezy ARE!!
I received two of these calls today both were hang ups. I attempted to signed up for the free sample of Reverisital and decided not to when I saw the price after the free trial. Thank you for the insight with Verizon. I will be doind this today and hopefully will stop the madness.
Got a few calls last week and two calls - both hang ups yesterday and another today where I answered and it was a Dee Dee from Bio Labs Customer Service calling because my wife had visited their site for Acaiberry. I told them to stop calling....bet they don't....
