this number called at 4:10pm on a Wednesday, pretending to call regarding medical information, after I demanded to know who she was calling on behalf of, se told me "F_CK OFF YOU LITTLE PRICK" TWICE. She had a spanish accent, very hard to understand.
Believe this to be from the diet offer. I have not been called as often as some of you but enough. It really tells you what kind of company they are. Perhaps the most important thing to be learned is beware o "free" offers on the www.
Just started getting the calls today. Answered in the evening and spoke with someone named Tom and he said they were calling regarding Resveratrol. I explained that once I read the fine print I decided I didn't want to actually order, and he tried to do a discount package deal for me. Still told him I really just wasn't interested anymore. He was pleasant enough (though not very well spoken) and I am assuming I won't be receiving any more calls regarding this. There did seem to be a delay in hearing each other so I am guessing their call center is no where near me.
Same as all the others.. but, unbeknown to me my wife had checked out "Resveratrol the Ultimate Anti-Aging Solution" online after seeing a Barbara Walters BS story on the product and had put in her cellphone number on one of the advertised sites.. good luck getting them to stop.Myself being in I.T. for 16 years I thought she would know better having house full of computers and computer savvy kids.. oh well.. I suggest NEVER giving your information to any website, if you do use a service like Google Voice (used to be Grand Central) to forward all calls to your land line and cell phones so you have a controllable number where YOU can block any unwanted number.Contacting a lawyer will do you little to no good, there's not much they can do if you willingly put your number in their system. If you know the website you put your number into please post it here and I will follow-up if I am able to getting our number removed from their system.. though it has surely been sold to thousands of others by now.-spaz amateur consumer advocate
I get a call from this number almost daily. Always a hang up. I am on every do not call list. How do I stop them?
I too went on the Acai Berry site and stupidly put in my info. When I got to the next page and it was asking for my credit card # I backed out but I knew I'd been had. I am now getting the calls and also lots of email spam. Jerks!
