Received call on Thursday, 07/16/2009, at 5 PM from 305-800-1000 as indicated by my caller ID. I answered the phone and no one spoke so I finally hung up and looked up the number on this site. Notice many have received similar calls from this number.

I'm confused. I just dont know what the point is for them to do this- especially if they say nothing when/if you do answer their call. ????????

I get a Florida call at least 8 times daily and they dont say anything they just hang up. This is been going on for almost 3 weeks.

Two phone calls within 20 mins, both time hung up on me.. can't even talk to them to tell them not to call. BS is what this is...

Called and there was noise and broken language on the message they left. Tried to call the number back to find out who it was and it was not in service.

Severals call during morning and afternoon. When I answered the call I got no response. I return the call and a recording stated that the number is incorrect.

im a verizon customer also and i tried to block numbers online and it told me that i need to pay extra to be able to block numbers

I've been getting the calls frequently but never been around to answer until yesterday. 2 calls 5 minutes apart and they said nothing. About 8 months ago i was in a dispute with Acai about hoe they doubled charges on my credit card and not refunding me as promised. Visa ended up giving me the funds back. I got married 4 months ago (new last name and phone number and state) and the calls started. That is really weird.

i got a call from 305-800-1000. when i answered they hung up. since it was almost 10 o'clock and my daughter and granddaughters live in FL and have me as ICE in their phone i was worried. when they called back 10 minutes later and i answered, i could not understand them. sounded like spanish or something, then they hung up. i am curious as to how they got my number.
