someone claiming to be a state farm subjegater

These guys are SLICK, but not that slick. They called my cell phone number and claimed that one of my BMW's was involved in an accident in San Diego, CA and that they represented Farmers Insurance. The said that some one (fake name) was driving my vehicle and proceeded to give me a plate number, registered address, lien holder (all information they can pull from DMV records) DO NOT CONFIRM any of the information they give you. I simply told her that I am not aware of who that person was, I was not involved in any accident and asked for her name, company name (Destiny with Wilbert & associates) and got the file number then told her that I will have my attorney call her to handle the matter. I actually called my attorney and he immediately recognized that it was a scam. So do nothing, give them nothing until they actually serve you with legally filed documentation.

Your story is total BS. NO law firm has the ability to suspend or revoke your license. You probably work for them and you are trying to spin this BS on people. No one in their right mind would believe this crap. So, for $200 a month they will reinstate your license with the DMV and get you back on the road? again BS.

Lady identified herself as Wilber & Associates. They called saying they wanted to settle a dispute on a claim that was filed against my insurance company (SAFCO) for a 3 car accident. I told them I don't have insurance with SAFCO nor have ever. She said I did. They also said the claim was for $1,046.00 that my PT Cruiser was involved in a 3 car accident, which I have never owned a PT Cruiser. They asked if I have been receiving bills from them and I told them no. They then said they would pursue the claim. I hung up called my insurance company and lawyer and they directed me to call Sheriff Dept, which I did. After they and myself ran the number it came up as spam and directed me to this page.

A lady called me with an attitude stating that I'm at fault for an accident which there still isn't no police report so why are they calling horrasing me stating that I owe them $26,000 for the rental that the other person was driving. And when I asked do they have the police report saying that but she had a major attitude saying I guess you don't have insurance because your not saying you do... uh of course I have insurance I gave them that info after the accident I just don't understand why they are calling me and not my attorney.

I am an insurance agent for a well known Insurance comapny....I can tell you that this place is not just a scam. A scam is more something like when a person or people say you owe a debt but the debt is false and collects on it. Or, somehow the scammers do have actual info about a real debt you have and they collect on it knowing darn well your real debt is not being paid. How do I know? One reason being even though I am an agent, I am a real person just like the rest of you and when I was younger I was scammed for yes, a real debt I owed. Thankfully since then for me personally any debts I owed were cleared and I do not have to worry avout things like this. Or I know if somebody tries, I already know its a scam.So, on to the insurance agent part..... I recently turned in a claim for a client of ours because our client failed to let us know that they had been contacted by another insurance company in the first place over owing money. Why didn't our client think to call us? Idk....he calls for everything else. If he would have, our claims debt would have dealt with the other insurance company for the subrogation. Now our client is dealing with Wilbur and Associates. I spoke with a lady at Wilbur and she was nice. Probably bc I work for an insurance company and am collecting info to turn the claim in so that the money is paid from our company to the other. So, first hand I can say they are absolutely legit. Im not sure what they can or cannot do though! I cannot confirm what they do or what's right or wrong. All I know is if a person is contacted by an insurance company in regards to a claim, it would make since for that person to not just ignore the whole thing. Why So that we can cover your rear end as that's the whole reason you have been paying for insurance in the first place!To the rest of you who do not carry insurance....you have nobody to blame but yourself! Understand that the insurance company themselves report you to the BMV way before it gets to Wilbur! That's what an adjuster does when they find out you don't have insurance. I work as an agent and deal with this stuff every day! Even on a personal level. I had a family member hit by an uninsured driver and guess what? The company contacted the BMV to report the uninsured driver. You license will stay suspended until you pay off you debt, point blank period!!!!!!!!!!!!!Here's and idea GET SOME INSURANCE AND KEEP IT! THAT WAY YOU CAN AVOID ALL OF THIS! Both my husband and I as well as our 19 year old son keep getting calls from this place. When my son answered they said its from a car accident he was involved in as a minor. They said we had to pay over $3,000 or our drivers licenses would be suspended. We ask to be sent documents before we paid anything. They said our driver licenses would be suspended and gave us a date. We live in Florida and can check the status of our license on line. None of our licenses are suspended. My son really was in an accident when he was a minor and was at fault. He was driving my car. Our insurance paid the claim. We called and they said they don't know of this company.

Is Wilbur from Mr. ED???

I got a letter in my mail saying that I had a accident and I owe them $7899.86. I've never to a accident since then. I want to file a complaint for this scam.
