I am getting a couple of calls from this number. I know the number because of caller id. Usually I am not at home for the calls. Tonight when I answered not noting the caller id, the caller just hung up. I immediately came and "googled" the number. I don't know anyone in IL.

I get a call from this number and call back, give my name and phone number. The lady asked why I was short and I told her because I had seen customer complaints on her company on the web.....so she tells me to call back when I get my facts straight and hangs up on me! Is she serious? I'm not calling back.

The guys name is Mike and he sounds like a pretty sleezy guy. Mike likely posted that "jeff" comment. This is a low class collectins group and they aren't attorneys. They have no power to suspend drivers licenses and if Mike tells you he does then he is lying and you should sue him.

Asked for me, then says nothing like he is trying to get paperwork in order and possibly "recording" the call. I just hung up, i was busy

So, is this thing a scam, or what?

It is Wilber and AssociatesThey are trying to collect for an insurance company that paid workmen's comp claims for a guy that was tresspassing on our property and was allegedly injured. They have ignored our correspondence via U.S. Mail and keep harrassing us. If you have reason to file complaints or suits against this company, please do.

oh yes they do, they did mine, for an accident, i had a very well known insurance company, and moved, i pay 6months at a time and usually they let me know when my insurance is up, this time they didn't email me or call me, so i drove around thinking i had insurance, and some girl hit me in the passenger side rear of my car, and i got a ticket, don't know why since she hit me behind my back door when i was driving a 65' buick (very long car) and didn't see a black big car during a sunny day, this number kept calling so i talked to them, they threatened to suspend my license, which they did, and are very rude, and won't even set up a payment plan so i can pay 100-150 a month, do they realize people are at hard times now and 100-150 a month is kind of a lot when u have numerous bills, and getting low hours. they said the only way they can make my payment 100-150 if i pay a downpayment of half of the wreck total of the other party which the total is 3,200, in no way can i pull 1,600 bucks out of my [***], which i told the person on the phone, and they became super offended by the word [***], and began being rude and said they wouldn't work with me that i have to come up with the whole 3,200 bucks, and hung up on me, and now they keep calling me still. but ya now my license are suspended and im stuck on what to do, since i dont' have the 3,200 to pay them....uggghhh
