I just got a call from them on my cell around 10:45 this morning, but I was in class so I couldn't answer. When I replayed the voice message, it just said that the message was for my sister, and asked if she could call them back...but the number they gave was a different one than what was on my CID (this one). So that was strange...who knows.

This number is for Mike Campbell his reply number is 800-926-3136 X 3048 he is a bill collector. I guess he buys bad Amex debts, and tried to collect them by driving everyone crazy with unsolicited phone calls.

Just got a call on my cell from this number- no message. I just entered my number on the do not call registry yesterday, maybe this triggered something. I do not have Amex credit cards.

I got a call today from this number for my Ex Husband. Don't know how they got my number since it is a cell phone that I got after we were divorced and I changed my name. The man said his name was Rydell Dennis (spelling?) Glad I chose to search the number on the web before trying to call or passing the number on to my ex.

He gave ex 3079 to me.

these people are very persistent. I do keep getting bills from Amex as well and want to know who I pay. These people even called my ex and he was never on this card. I told him I was getting to a debt consolidation loan and couldn't do anything until the loan officer returned to work. He even wanted to know why the loan officer was not at work - asked why he needed that information he replied so he could put in notes - I will call American Express to deal with the problem NOT these people!

yeah they called for someone named Mark, and kept asking question after question withour identifying themselves. I told them there was nobody here by that name. Which lead to a host of other questions as to who's phone number this was and am I calling the correct household.

I used to receive several calls from this collection agency until they propose me a deal. From the original 35,000.00 amont I owned to AMEX, they offer me to just pay 1,256.89 and I accepetd. They are very nice and comprenhensive people! Answears their phone calls!

Incredibly rude and persistent. Average 5+ calls a day, usually 2-3 within the span of 5 minutes. They even call my parents' house!I had spoken directly with them about a week ago, they asked if I could put my AmEx balance on another credit card and told me that I am irresponsible and don't pay attention to my bills. Umm, why would I do that?I told them that my massive medical bills are taking a higher spot on my priority list right now.
