I just got that stupid call. He said something was wrong with my windows computer. I said that's a lie because I don't have a windows computer. He said yes you do and mentioned my husbands name. I said I don't know who that is but you are lying because we don't do windows we have all apple in our home. Dumbass! l really only have one windows laptop the rest is all apple, but I knew this was a scam so I lied to him too. he hung after I told him all we have is apple
I receive calls from the "computer software somethingsomething" several times a week. I shame them. By the time I have said, "You are a horrible person for preying on people who don't understand that you are BS!" they hang up.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
