Call said I was not home to sign for a package that required a signature. I called the UPS 1800 number and they told methat no attempts were made to deliver the package so I don't know why I received the call??

Yes, these reports are correct. If you return the call to this number, you get a recording stating that it is an attempt to notify you of the upcoming delivery of a COD package or one that requires and adult signature for delivery. The message also states that the driver will leave notice on the first delivery date of how you can get your package, but will also make attempt to delivery on the next 2 days following the first attempted delivery. A very nice extra notification if you want my opionion.

This was a call from UPS notifying me that a delivery requiring adult signature would be made.

Saw it on caller ID this AM...funny thingy is UPS delivered the package last evening and did NOT require a signature...the area code is NC

I wasn't home to answer the phone call, but there was a UPS package delivered to my home by mistake the day before. UPS was supposed to pick it up to return it to the shipper. I'm sure they were calling from this number to make sure it was left out on the porch for pick up.

I've been on the federal Do Not Call list from the start, and I've updated several times since then. Reverse phone lookup says its a telemarketer.

Its a delivery from UPS requiring a signature. It seems they called before they tried to deliver it at all. It comes up as being from Greensboro, NC when you do a reverse lookup - possibly a cell phone. But I called it and got a recording from UPS saying they're trying to deliver and get a signiture.

called no message; but i'm expecting a ups delivery tomorrow...
