good lord - ppl actually think UPS will read this site? I guess it is true - you can not cure stupid... my only problem with the phone call I got was that the tracking number is not valid according to their site and I would never have left my work direct number for a shipment... if wine shows up I guess we will party on Thursday.
Agreed here. Expecting a package this week, and just got the call as well. Didn't answer, looked it up, and landed here. Since it's UPS delivering the package, I know who it's coming from, and what it is, I'd suggest that plenty of people in this thread have proved the legitimacy of the number on the whole. So, if you other folks want to be paranoid that this is a bunk number, you go right ahead. For those rational folks out there, you're very likely getting a package. :)
Chuck quit being ridiculous. It is UPS letting you know about a package. They are not trying to sell you anything. Being on a "federal Do Not Call list" does not mean people like UPS can't call to let you know you have a package that needs a signature or the electric company can't call your number to let you know they will access to your property to work on power lines. Some people are crazee. I would like to apologize for Chuck, he hit his head when he was a toddler
This is a legit call. I have gotten calls like this for high value items that I have ordered from Amazon or other vendors. UPS shouldn't leave a note on your mailbox because that is illegal. UPS probably figures it is easier to call your number than to send someone out and discover no one is home and leave a note which means it costs them more with the driver's hourly wage and gas to send them out again.I bet if they left a note after the first time that you have to go out to their facility that is half an hour away you'd complain about that saying it isn't fair.PLeaZEE!Call the number and you will discover it is UPS?!~
I just received a call from this number but the line was open but silent. I have been receiving calls like this for weeks ever since my credit card was used fraudulently used. I called it back and I too got the UPS message but I received no notice at my residence. I don't mind the call with a message or info but a call with a open silent line? No one needs that. Thank you all for the shared info.
It's legit. I ordered wine online and they just called to be sure someone over 21 would be there to sign. They did it as a courtesy.
Yes sir. This is not UPS by the way. Silly old folks.
This number called my house today, I guess I should be getting my xbox 360 back..tomorrow. I do not want to take a day off of work tomorrow to have to sign for this anyway to talk to a live person about delivery.
Another Xbox user. I sent my Xbox out not two weeks ago. I guess it will be here tomorrow. Thank you Internet.
