Received a call from the above number they did not leave a message. Called the number and got an automated message. There was no instructions on my door or mail box.
you people are so rude to each other. i just got one of these calls too and found this thread very helpful to know who it was. if you don't want to answer people's concerns politely, get off the internet!
I got a call from this number, too.Left no message, but after reading here,I recalled my son sent his xbox360 off to be repaired awhile back,so I believe that's it.thx for posting this. :)
Just to allay anyone's concerns, yes, this is INDEED UPS and anytime something of VALUE or ALCOHOLIC is sent, they use these voice prompts to alert that a signature is needed (usually next day). This is a great service -- otherwise, your delivery is delayed because someone is not home to sign for it... then you have to reschedule or go pick it up yourself.
Yeah, i got a call from this # twice today...of course I don't answer when i don't recognize who's calling. I do expect a SONY VAIO deliver tomorrow so I guess they just want to make sure someone is home to sign it.
I recieved two of these calls today. I dont answer if I dont know who is calling me and then I google it. Glad to see that its just UPS, which could potentially be a good service if they would attach "Postal Service" to their caller ID. I'm expecting a package, so I'll just assume its coming tomorrow. Its still a little creepy, Why would they call on a Sunday?? twice?? And why not just leave a recording/voicemail that a package is coming and it requires a signature?
it would have been a "legit call" if they actually had any business with me, but they did not. it's ok to calm down now, this is only a silly forum.
They called my house twice. The first time, they never left a message, and then the second time they had called, they left a message saying that a package delivery was expected tomorrow and would have to be signed.
I received the same call from the same number. No message was left but when I called it back, it was in fact UPS notifying me of an UPCOMING delivery that requires a signature. I am in fact expecting a package tomorrow and I know it requires a signature. Ya'll stop being paranoid. It is NOT a telemarketer and this does not apply to the DNC list. They are simply trying to give you a courtesy call to make sure you know a package is scheduled for delivery that requires a signature.
