are you crazy. just wondering how you settled. did it take a lawyer. We just started talking with a lawyer and he also said they couldn't put a lien on the house. did you still owe money and have the cost of fixing/finishing stuff deducted from that amount? did you go thru GE money at all and attempt to get any of that money back. Also, Did KC ever come out to inspect/review any of the issues. you can email me at tdr96@yahoo.comwe still owe money and need to have some stuff finished and fixed. no one's been out in 3 weeks. (although KC keep's saying there will be). thanks
Brian 69 Did you go crying since you just found out the truth --- Cause if i did your job you will be lein starting Monday at noon ---- that is my dead line for kitch carolina ---- i am sick of there winey little hiding A** Rob. His day is coming. He dont wanna pay --- How about selling that new house or those cars -- your wife ---i dont care -- you can not screw someone over in the construction business and expect to just keep giving excuses--- i guess when the home owners that receiving lein notices they will stop paying you and paying them off --- cause they will not have an option -- work was done at there house and i got all the emails and scheduling proving that we were sent out there -- that is all we need to file a lein ----SORRY HOME OWNERS --STOP PAYING KITCHEN CAROLINA
Tom the Tile Guy is YOUR MAN.- Tom knows Tile. NASA should have called Tom up when tiles were falling off the Shuttle. He walks the talk. He knows bonding. - Beyond that, Tom has an eye for art and a pride for craftsmanship.
Most lawyers will bite because it is about the cabbage (money) and they love the long drawn out process that these court cases will take, They will get to bill you at every chance they get. And if you don't win you have to pay more.I think that if you are a home owner and your kitchen is not finished you must keep on trying to get them to finish your kitchen and if you have not done any documentation you need to start by logging your phone calls and writing down everything. Take pictures with a digital camera so it is time stamped each and every day of all the unfinished work.Documentation is the key to you wining your case.Screw that start date and finish date balony in your contract I am sure there is some sort of qualifier in that contract that covers it.Give it a little more time, get the work done yourself if you can and take them to court to make them pay or get a judgment. You can't get blood from a turnip. And if the company does go bankrupt and becomes insolvent you will still have to finish your kitchen and will get nothing for it.They are working, they do have an office full of people that are being paid. They are finishing kitchens and trying to revive a cash flow. They have not paid many of the subs what they owe and know that unless these subs have put their legal ducks in a row they can not file a successful lien and if they do, by the time it goes to court they will have either paid the sub or become insolvent.
What part of Charlotte?I am a sub , with 10 years in installing.I am out side Charlottemyer4049@bellsouth.net
And wont be coming back. All their assets are frozen (step-1 in a forced audit. "no body move....any money that is..."). No Credit, No Tile, No Cabinets, and trying for free workers. As the Feds sift thru the numbers (which they are currently doing), we will find out if monies were poured into a dummy account, a complicit account, or poor management. If you see a lot of Fed Cars (black fords) out front, dont be alarmed. To the Stoner Cabinet guys; dont dump your stash....they dont care...they're lawyers with badges with bigger things to do.
Things have quited down... No more reference calls in weeks now. As for the kitchen it is all that was promised and it has been completed. I guess we were one of the lucky ones.
