Did you just call a group of civilian employees Pogues?! LMAO!
They told me they were citibank. Called citibank n they said they have nothing to do with them.filing a law suit.have them recorded claiming to be citibank.
They probably used the dialer system which calls about 50-100 people at the same time. If someone picks up the phone it will ask you to wait because there is no one available to talk to you yet.
Yeah, I received a call from this folks! Hopefully this is the first and last!
This is very bizarre bc I was on the phone taking a business call and this number came through. I didn't pick up but was curious about the unfamiliar area code. And, along came all of these posts about this very phone number. VERY bizarre. Yikes. Not good.
1-402-492.2800 also 1-402-491-2800 ; live person to survey some thing! Very fast spoken; when asked to repeat where she is calling from, hesitant to speak clearly!!
No msg just annoyance. Wish I could block 'em via Do Not Call but their lobbyists probably got exemption thru Congress by paying a little "grease" to legistators.
I just a call from 402-491-2800 and they claimed to be from Fifth Third bank doing a survey. I told the guy I was stunned that any one from Fifth Third would work at 7:30 p.m.He kind of admitted to being a phone marketer. Here is how to handle this crap.. Write a letter to the banks you deal with, credit cards, insurance companies, power companies an telephone companies. If you buy something on the internet, make a specific OPT OUT note to the vendor. Invoke your right to privacy and excercise your rigth to OPT OUT of them selling your information.Simple letter that is dated and addressed to each agency mentioned above. If they are a debt collector this may not apply, otherwise it has gtten results for me. Mail this with a delivery confirmation for about 5.00 and copy the delivery confirmation frorm the USPS web site. They should return a letter to you next.Keep your file with the copies of the lettr, delivery confirmation and return letter. Now, when they do call again notice them of a complaint to Federal Trade Comm for violation of the OPT OUT law. Once the fines come in for 1,000.00 per call they get quiet. Next notify the bank of your experience of them selling out your information to a telemarketer such the rewards card stuff too. Make it plain the purpose of your phone is not for them to sell or trade information without your specific consent. I am making a U-tube video with sample letters of how I handled this and how to avoid the crap calls. Should be ready by March 01.
called on 11/17 at 6:49pm and left no msg. I have Verizon Wireless. I also just rec'd 2 snail mail solicitations from CITI yesterday. But i just found that Convergys has a web site. It appears to be an International Outsourcing company. I could not see the company name on my ID
What do you call "punch in numbers" ?
