I get calls like this often and they are from the fraud department for my bank. I never answer try either and I usually call my bank to make sure. Then they give another 1800 number to call them back. They understand why people are leary, but it is legit. No one is stealing your identity... Q

This is not a scam, it is just verifying card activity purchases you have made. I've called my bank and they Have verified.

I called my credit union directly rather than the 1-800 number left in voicemail by the "transaction review department." My CU confirmed this is the company they use to monitor fraudulent charges, and my debit card number had in fact been compromised. So it seems to me legit, but I do think it is best practice to call your bank or the number on the back of your card first. Calls from the 402 # have stopped since I cancelled my debit.

Call your bank talk to the bank personnel if there is a problem bank personnel will help you as I have done just that today and verified the 402-609-5706 is not a legitimate or authorized location to handle your private banking data CALL YOUR BANK DO NOT GIVE PEOPLE YOU DO NOT KNOW YOUR IDENTITY OR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Not a scam, called my bank and they confirmed it's a fraud protection call the bank uses. I was trying to buy something online that was from overseas and my bank does not automatically allow that without preapproval. The call back number is 800-622-1361 to verify charges. Not a scam at all.

02-609-5709- Completely legit. I had to call back on the number (800-373-8622) that was left on answering machine. A fraud department on behalf of your bank. They where Checking on recent credit card purchases. Didn't ask for any personal info...All they asked for to verify was, "My name and phone number they called on"...after that...she said my bank name and started running off everything that I purchased.....just told ME recent transactions (I made that day), merely checking that they were mine. I did not have to give bank account number or address...just name and phone number they called on... For me "Not a Spam"
