I know this won't make a difference because the phone company won't do a dang thing about it no matter how many of us are being harassed... however, this number has called and hung up on either myself or my staff at least once a day for the past week.

Caller ID gave company name as Info USA, caller identified himself as from that company as well. Wanted to verify business info for internet search engines. Refused the divulge the information.

These people don't care if you're listed on DNC or not. I've pressed "2" to have myself removed and talked to a rep. Their autodialers just keep the calls coming. This is the kind of crap that gives real marketing a bad name. They don't play by the rules and when you call them on it they blame you, the caller, for not enrolling on DNC. Bunch of crap.

I got a call from this number but didn't pick up the phone. These people must be calling about my business but I try not to answer these types of numbers as we don't do business across the United States.

They called, I picked up and heard it ringing as if I was calling someone. I hung up.If they call again, I just won't speak to them in English. That'll be fun.

I just received a call from Infogroup and was asked all kinds of questions by someone who sounded as if they were using a voice modifier. I kept asking questions as to how they obtained my business information, what their company did, etc. and just got the run around. I waited a few moments and while I was waiting I tried to research the phone number that appeared on my caller ID. I then called the number back and was connected quickly to a gentleman who was more than forth coming with a sales pitch about keeping my business website listed on yahoo, google, and on any type of white/yellow pages online service. I then informed him that I would like my name, phone number and anything associated with my business removed from their files/records. He then told me that I would be removed from all search engines on the internet as well as the white/yellow pages listings, google maps, etc. I informed him that this information is completely false ( i have multiple degrees in IT) and am still requesting to be removed. He then told me that the only way to do that is if I fax or e-mail because I could be one of my competitiors. I feel that this compnay should be avoided and throughly investigated for the erroneous information that they spew forth on the phone to scare people into listing their business with them. It's companies like this that hurt everyone and make us small business owners look bad.

I told em i was not interested, and they said they'll remove my number from their list. Just have to wait and see if it's true..
