I've never ever had a problem with shaw, and my wait has never been more than 3 - 5 minues IF I have to wait at all... are you calling the office nearest you? or are you calling their headquarter? If you are calling the their headquarters, it's province-wide and yeah there will be a longer wait... my suggestion to you is, get the phone number for your local office, THEY will have more information about your area, your account details etc. and are much more quicker to answer.
Ive been recieving calls from this number the last few days and i keep missing it. I googled the number thinking it was a business I was expecting to call back and I stumbled upon this. Weird they would call me regarding any appointments or services because I have never had anything to do with telus. This is getting pretty annoying I'll try with that email address and hope they will give it a rest.
403-310-2255 is from Telus. If you want to be removed, send an email to privacy@telus.com. Have received calls from this number consistently throughout this month. Took the advice of a previous thread and called 1-800-567-0000. I spoke to an agent name Cheryl and explained my situation. She immediately pulled up my file and removed my number (effective within 48 hours). She was very pleasant to deal with. She confired that 403-310-2255 is Telus Marketing.

I called 1-800-567-0000 and got Cheryl as well. She was a great help and had me taken off the list.
Switched to Shaw so now Telus is trying to be 'nice' to me. May not have switched had they been 'nicer' before. One advantage to Shaw is that I can easily block Telus without having to go through a horrendous bureaucracy.
403-310-2255, has been calling me for a few weeks now, usually about once a day sometimes twice. When i do answer its just dead air!, so now i just don't answer it but they just keep on calling and calling! Its really starting to get pretty annoying!
