This number called my cell but I did not pick up.

I just got a call too....no message left on my cell voicemail.

My phone number is on the national do not call list. What good is this list and there should be penelties.

Only my immediate family have my cell number. This is an unwanted telemarketing number I believe.

Got this call yet again. It's an automated voice saying because your a valued air miles customer.......blah blah blah. Its the same thing everytime we get this call. WE are a business, and I tell them that and that It irritates me that I have to tell them each time they call to take our number off their calling list. I have to do this as they keep changing the number that they call from.

Also got a call...no message didn't answer because the number looked familiar, they called me before...saved to my contacts now as "don't answer me"

They/It phoned on my work phone. Automated voice saying that I won a prize of extra westjet dollars or something similar and that I need to press number 1 to collect . I stayed on the line but never pressed 1. Eventually within about 20 or so seconds, the caller hung up. I believe that the call was a scam. I a,lwyas thought it would be a great idea that if the police had a credit card number specifically to use for scam calls such as this. Basically if someone called and requested personal information requiring a credit card and the such, the credit card number would basically be one that is specifically set up to be able to hunt down and quickly locate where the card is in use and be able to catch these crooked thieves quickly and thoroughly. I don't know if it would work, but it's just a thought.

Just got a call to my cell with an automated message that started "Because you are a valued Bell customer you are elligible for a prize..." I hung up. I strongly dislike the fact that even though we registered all our family cell-phones with a "do-not-call" list, we still get calls now on our cell phones in addition to our home line...AUGH!!

Received a call on my cell (Fido) from 403-939-8080 while I was walking my dog, so I hit ignore and didn't answer.Right after I got home (about 5 minutes after the first call), I received a call from 1-403-255-8807. A recorded message offered to lower my credit card rates. I hung up.What are the odds that these are the same people running these scams? Very good, I'd say.
