I didn't answer the call. Clearly they have the wrong number. I don't owe anybody anything. Caller ID displayed 'Portfloiorecov' and they didn't leave a message.

THIS NUMBER IS PORTFOLIO RECOVERY, I GOT THIS NUMBER A YEAR AGO, THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING HERE FOR THE GIRL THAT HAD THE NUMBER BEFORE ME. i TOLD THEM TO STOP CALLING, i AM NOT THIS PERSON, THEY STILL KEEP CALLING SEVERAL TIMES A DAY. NEVER LEAVE MESSAGES.i THINK IT IS TIME FOR ME TO SUE THEM FOR HARRASSING THE WRONG PERSON!!!!! NOW I AM PISS!!!!

When they called I just hit the talk button, waited a few seconds, and hung up (since I could see the name on Caller ID). Then an hour or so later called them back and asked why they were calling my number. I asked if they had ever heard of the Do Not Call list. She said that applies to telemarketers, and they are not a telemarketer, they are collecting on debts. I said I don't have any debts, and she asked for my number. So I relented and gave it to her. She said she was looking for _____, and I said I'd never heard of him. I said please stop calling my number, she said it had been removed, and "have a nice day." I said "sure" ........ Grrrrr, what jerks.

that numbet just called and it rang once and they hung up...what the heck i don't owe anyone anything. I have boost wonder how i can block them, might have to go to the boost store and find out,

I finally answered this morning and the man with an African-American voice mumbled something about a Mastercard account that I don't ever use and I told him never to call back or I will block the call. I won't miss the almost daily calls.

They called me. There's got to be a way to stop these [***]. I don't owe anyone anything. My credit rating is just perfectly fine. But yet these people are harassing all of us.

I was getting calls from these idiots all the time. I started answering the calls as the local public library. After three or four times the calls completely stoped.

These guys are really getting on my nerves, I have two pages of contact numbers saved on my block list because they will not stop calling. No matter how many times I tell them this is the wrong number, they continue to call. Really!! Take me off of your call log list.

Portfolio called me from this number trying to get me to pay off a credit card that has been paid off and canceled for 5 years. I explained it was paid off and canceled, they gave me an email address to write to saying so and said that would allow them to remove it. I did so and the email given was NOT a valid email address. SCAM - SCAM - SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They keep calling me claiming I have a debt to a credit card that was taken care of in bankruptcy over 11 yrs ago. I tell them that I have reported them to the FCC and that they debt is not collectible. They claim that they know the law but obviously they dont. I have told them repeatedly to NOT call me yet they do and its looking like I am probably going to have to change my phone number of 5 yrs to get them to leave me alone.
