Portfolio Recovery Associates. One of the largest third party debt buyers in the USA. They buy charge offs and old written off debts for pennies on the dollar and then intimidate and harass people like you and me into paying whatever they can get out you. If we had any money we'd pay [***] like these off just to not put up with their BS. Personally, I think that these people are like most people living paycheck to paycheck...............they just happen to have a really crappy job, I think that eventually their will be a class action suit that will put even Portfolio out of business, this because of their methods of intimidation and half truths and harassement, most of their employees will be named and brought to justice even though they use false telephone names and, well, best not get into anything more specific but you get the idea. Companies like these and their employees will get some of their methods back except it will be in spades. Hang on to your records regarding times called and by whom you'll need them to prove the harassment.

Capitol One got tricked into buying Portfolio. Close this company before its too late. Everyone will eventually have a smart phone with call blocker software and you can't collect on people you can't reach. Get out while you can. You'll spend money on wasted phone calls that wont ever turn a profit.

Okay. This number has been calling me for six years now, no joke. They say they're looking for some guy named Aidan who's in debt. I've told them a few times that I'm not Aidan but they still call. They call less frequently now, but sometimes I get calls from other numbers also looking for that guy named Aidan.

They also called my number and didn't leave a message. I know they are frauds and I've reported them to the FCC. SO why the hell hasn't this stopped. The same pieces of garbage used a local 512-487-6940 to do the same things. It's needs to stop right now!

just got a call from 404 912 2521 scared me because i don't know any one from Georgia. i picked it up and i could barley under stand what the woman was saying. not making that mistake again .
