I do not sell these things, but I will tell you about them. Panasonic makes a phone where you can block phone numbers trying to call you. I bought a base unit on Ebay for like $22. . All you have to do is save the number under the "block" option. The next time that number calls you,you hear one short ring, then nothing. As soon as the phone recognizes the number, it returns a busy signal to the caller. The phone holds something like 20 numbers. You can go back & erase them & re- use the 20 spots by erasing a number & putting a new number in it's place. ANY number can be blocked.. 800 number 900 number foreign number, anything, The phone just needs to know you do not want to be bothered & it returns a busy signal every time that number calls you. Great little system. I am sure other phones besides the Panasonic have the feature. Just look for "call blocking". This was Panasonic model no. KX-TG6411. Yes, I know DO Not call list SHOULD be getting rid of these scum but they are not. SO we have to do it ourselves or it does not get done. Hope this helps some of you at your wits end. Uncle Al

I had one missed call, and looked up the number, and saw all these posts. Never, never give out ANY information whatsoever on yourself. The scammers out there are getting more and more. I don't give anything out when they call. If I was interested in anything, I will call them!!!

I just got a call from a person in my area code, he said he had just received a call from my phone number (it was on his caller id), saying they werefrom Credit card services. They had called here the other day, however i did not answer the phone. They are now using other phone numbers somehow. I am going to call the phone company and find out how this can be happening.

Just got a call from this number. Didn't answer it..and...after reading some of the excerpts, I sorta wish I had. I always love giving someone like this the run-around...keeps them on the phone and keeps them from trying to dupe others. I guess running a business like this is easier than working for a living. By the way, the do-not-call list will not keep the companies like this from calling you -- you have to report them to get them fined, and possibly out of business. The state of Mississippi has collected more than $500,000 in fines from annoying telemarketers and those who ignore the Mississippi do-no-call list, I'm proud to say that I've reported some of the ones that ultimately had to pay a fine! =o)

I too received a call this morning about reducing the interest on my credit card. When I finally got to a "real" person and was told they could reduce my interest... I told her that I might be able to reduce her prison sentence because I worked for the Montana Attorney General... she immediately hung up. I suspect that they'll never call me again.

This number calls our home continually. It undoubtedly is bogus, as we don't have any major credit cards they could possibly access.

Do not give out your cc info or personal info on the phone. There is no free lunch here. Just phishing and general scams.

Rang four times around 1:30 PM. Did not recognize number.
