Land line phone rang this morning, showing Credit Services and this number. I picked it up so I could yell at them, but they hung up as soon as I answered.Several weeks ago I got a call on my cell phone, which isn't listed with any company with which I have a card -- and on which I get very few unknown calls. Left the message about my credit card -- "There isn't any problem with your card," they began before the spiel about lowering my interest rates.Even if I had though for a second it was legitimate, which I certainly didn't, I pay off my cards each month so this wouldn't have piqued my interest.Definitely the sort of stuff AGs should be interested in!

Just got a call from this number...let it go to the machine and they hung up. Happy Valentine's Day

I just got a call from this number and clicked 1. a person named George came on the phone and he asked if I wanted to lower my interest rates. I said no, not really....that I wanted to know what company he was calling from. He hung up.

I'm so glad for all the posts. The next time they call, I'll be putting them through the paces!

The good news -- when you call back -- she says "if you don't want to be included in our special deal - press 1 and you will be taken off of our calling list". Easy. However, let's see what happens -- will they really comply with our request?

11:18 am MST.....Sat 2/12/11.....Just got a call from this number......caller id said "Credit Services", I answered it .....no one answered....I hung up.....another friggin scam........

Don't know who this is but they are annoying. I'm on Do Not Call List and do not appreciate unwanted calls interupting my day.

You go Uncle Al! Jeez, what is wrong with people they would fall for this? "Something for nothing" - burn ya every time.

These crooks apparently hit pay dirt when gullible folks answer and give them credit card numbers. They disconnected me when I asked the name of their company. Immediately I went on line to report this to the do-not-call folks. Probably won't do any good (I have my doubts about them too), but it made me feel better.

I stupidly answered this call and they tell me they can lower my interest rates on my cards....first they tgell me it's for visa, I say I don't have a visa credit card it's a debit card so she proceeds to ask which card has the highest balance so I tell her and she's got my information, numbers there, and than after I give her that I tell her most of my cards are almost maxed...OH well this doesn't pertain to you you have to have at least 700 to spend to be able to get this reduced interest rate and proceeds to tell me I have to make a hefty payment of 700 to get this service and than she hangs the phone up on me....NICE I believe it's a scam to get your info....
