"Heather" from account services, claiming my eligibility for a lower race on my credit card is about to expire. I hit "2" to (so the recording claims) be removed from further offers. While "Heather" sounded American, the person it connected me with was clearly from overseas. I asked her "I think this is a scam, WHICH credit card are you calling about, she hung up."

I also was hung up on, but I believe it's because I have a CaptionCall phone. It's a phone for the deaf and hard of hearing. It records in writing what the caller is saying and the call can be saved. Too much evidence against the callers I suppose.

Got a call from this # just now. Didn't answer.

Receive a recorded announcement from 406-720-2099 advising me that since I was such a good customer I qualified for lower interest rates. If I was interested I should press 1. I'm always interested in how I'm going to be treated during these calls so engaged. My first question was - what bank do you represent - reply -- we are Credit Card Services. No, I replied, I asked "What bank do you represent".. operator replied - "We represent Bank of America, Chase, Capital One and Visa". Really, I said. No one represents all of those banks, so may I ask you why you are calling. She immediately hung up on me. Alas, another number to add to my blocked callers list.

If you do answer just say "County morgue, whose body do you want to claim?"

Unsolicited, annoying call - no response when answering machine picked-up

I just got a call. And I'm in eastern Canada - long way from Montana.My cell has caller ID, so I seldom answer calls from unfamiliar numbers.
