got a call from this number today but didn't answer it

Just got a call from this number. Of course it is spoofed since it says "FL Wireless Call" on my caller ID. I suppose the fact that it says "wireless" tricks some people into thinking it's not a telemarketer. Anyway, I didn't answer and no message left. I blocked it. Here are some other spoofed numbers from the same people (they've called before):602919017948020192379785702070978570233932130499995157899999There's no real way to get around being called by them except to block all calls unless they are known numbers. Oh well. Life goes on.

I just got a call from this number. I don't know why, but I picked it up and said hello. No response, so I hung up. Next time if someone is there, I will try playing with them by giving them false information and waste some of their time like they waste everyone else's.

I've been getting an unusually large number of these hang up calls from assorted numbers multiple times daily. I want these calls to stop , as I continuously go through the trouble to put myself on the do not call registry.

I am on the don't call list and still get these calls--why isn't action taken against this bunch of goons?

I get these calls all the time, even though I am on the "no call" list. The list is no good for hackers who can get around it. Some cordless phone systems have a "Call Block" feature that allows you to prevent future calls from these pests. It gives the caller a fast-busy and you hear a short ring and "Caller Blocked" comes up on your phone display. I love it! I now have 5 blocked calls that used to drive me crazy. Now, when I hear the short ring, it gives me a sense of satisfaction to know that it might be frustrating to a potential actual person on the other end.
