Tell them to do something about it or you'll cancel the landline. I've done this and it has at least some effect.
These scammers are calling from right here in the U.S and it isn't just a Do Not Call problem. They call to get your credit card number. Keep reporting this company to the FCC and maybe they will do something. The web site is FCC.Gov.
Got the same call today 407-480-9999 with number out of service or message mailbox full. Someone has to do something about these harrassing people. It's got to be stopped. Can you bug your own phone?
My 'solution' was simple and relatively inexpensive. Got a MagicJack ($20/yr). Set my listed landline to SILENT so it NEVER rings, with an outgoing message saying the number is monitored but never answered and that the caller should leave all the usual vital information if he/she wants a callback. Never happens. The people whom I want to know how to reach me are privy to an alternate number. Actually easier to implement than to describe.
Recording "Rachel from cardholder services" continues to call even though we have repeatedly told them to never call us.

Got the same thing DM1 reported. So, I just blocked the number and reported it to my phone carrier.
