Just received a call from this number at 11:15 am E daylight time. What good is the DO NOT CALL LIST

got a call at 12:15pm something about winning a trip to Disney land. Its a Scam. I called the number back and it wasn't working. Its a SCAM for sure.

1:50p EST, recvd. call from 407-987-5239, I didn't answer, no msg. was left. I returned call, but recorded operator said "sorry the # you have reached is not in service...".

Vacation package scam from sunny Florida. The usual travel con job with great free attraction tickets and cheap rooms, but you must make your plane flight and travel reservations thru them and wait til you see the plane ticket prices after the fact.One more scam the suckers deal from call center/robo call con artists.

The govt is out to thwart us nt to help us. We hve a dysfunctional govt.

Do not give these crooks any of your personal information. You didn't win anything. Nothing is free. They are trying to get your credit card or debit card information. Hang up. Report them to www.donotcall.gov.

Did the caller attempt to sell you goods or services and collect compensation over the phone? If not, don't blame the do Not Call List. In 2003 the DNC was established to offer people the option of receiving or not receiving Telemarketing calls from Businesses. Unless it is a telemarketer (Telemarketing=Telephone sales of goods or services) the DNC doesn't apply. Any other violations, report through the FTC or to the FCCs.

Received a call this evening. Caller ID shows "Florida". No message left.

I AM TIRED OF THESE PAIN IN THE BUTTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY CALL ON MY WORK PHONE AND THEN JUST HANG UP. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DO NOT CALL LIST??????

I've gotten over a dozen calls from this number in the past few weeks. I answered it once, and they just hung up. For those who get to talk to someone, even if it is a scam, you are luckier than I am. It now stays on long enough for it to register as a received call. It leaves a dial tone and a busy signal as a message. That is the pain of this, checking messages and finding that. I am going to let the phone ring four times instead of three if my machine lets me, before my machine picks up. Hopefully, it won't be able to leave a message and waste my time!
