Nov 1st got a call from this number, didn't recognize it so I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. Looks like they're back up and running as there have been no messages posted here since March 2010.
Well I actually answered and entered all my debit card information, like a ding bat! Totally believed it was from my bank. I had called yesterday to order my husband a new card and just figured something got messed up with the bank. As soon as i entered in everything it hung up on me. I reported it to Chase and they are sending me a new card. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!!!
I got a call from this same number this am at 1:30 AM! HELLO! These people SO need to get a life- and NOT one stealing info from people!Warning to all- NEVER EVER EVER give out your info on the phone unless YOU initiate the call! If a bank calls- they should already have your info-
Thank you for your thoughtful and complete response. We have been receiving between 400 and 500 calls *per day* from the good people of Arizona for the last several days. There are other businesses whose numbers have also been spoofed. Please call your Congressperson and/or your US Senator to request that they finally complete the legislative process to make Caller ID Spoofing a Federal crime. There is current legislation in both houses which has been passed by the other house that is not moving, for whatever reason. If they get enough 'heat' from the people, maybe they will do what is right to get this legislation passed. Calling them will make a difference!
In Rochester, NY.. had a miss call on 11/20 and on just now @ 6:42pm. I never answer calls from #'s I do not recognize... if it's important they will leave a message but I do always try to look up the # on sites like this. And after seeing the responses on here I'm glad I didn't pick up!
Got the scam call on my cell phone, saying my xxx debit card was suspended (they made "xxx" unclear purposely). Asked me to press 1, and I pressed "0" to test their system. It was disconnected immediately.
yes this number called this morning and woke us up and it said our credit card was suspended and that they could fix it. i just hung up...funny how we don't even have a CREDIT CARD. idiots..what is the world coming to. they prey on the week. one scam told my grandmother that they could sell her time share and stole 3,000$ from her. [***].
Just got a call from this number. Called back. It appears a scammer is spoofing this business's phone number. Please don't call the number back because that has got to suck.
