I traded in the vehicle I had a loan from PNC on and the dealer paid off the balance, and I confirmed it on my online banking. Regardless, I am still getting upwards of 25 calls per day from this number (roughly once per hour between 8 AM and 9 PM) split between my home phone and work phone. I finally answered today and informed them the loan has been paid off and was instead told they had no record of it and a 30 day past due mark had been left on my credit record. This collection agency will stop at nothing to try to get a payment out of you, even when the loan has been paid off. If you need any consumer credit services look elsewhere.
My auto loan payment is due on the 6th of every month. Sometimes money is tight and I have to pay the car note late. However it says right on my payment booklet a late fee may apply if the payment is not received by the 16th....that's 10 days grace. I have never made the payment past the 10th. So I say start calling after the 16th when it would be late. JACK@$$
This number calls the office all day long everyday of the week. No one here deals with this bank nor do they have any loans with them. I am sick of the harassment by this company. They even call when the bank is closed. Which is today! When you call them back to try to talk to a manager it says it's PNC Bank. You tell them to stop calling, but they continue the calls!
I can't help but notice a pattern here... lots of people griping about being called when payment is one day past the due date.. GUESS WHAT? IT'S LATE! even if it's still in the grace period, IT'S LATE! Pay your bills on time and you wont get collection calls, simple!
Find out where Dan works. Meet him in the parking lot with a trained German Shepard. Instruct GS to greet him warmly and personally. Filming can be arranged as a training device for new Office employees at the collection agency. Dan may cease and desist quite promptly after he is taken to the hospital with multiple dog bites to his face and neck.
This number ((412) 768-0662) called me yesterday and started with asking me what my personal identifiers (date of birth, address, social) were "to verify" they had the caller that had a loan with PNC bank. I declined to give someone who I didn't know and didn't call my personal information. I told them I'd look up their bank's info and call a line that I could verify was theirs.Today (Saturday) they called again in the morning. They didn't leave a message. I was in a meeting.I called the number back and got a recording that their business hours on Saturday were only until 1pm Eastern and that I should call back during normal business hours. They had called me on Friday at a time that was not "normal business hours". And then they'd called me on a Saturday morning - which I really don't think are "normal business hours."Based on the posts in this site, it seems this bank uses intimidation and harassment with its customers.
well these idiots are calling me at work. at first I didn't know who they were and I didn't answer but since I have caller ID I kept seeing them come up. I finally answered and told them to never call me at work since we have a rule against that anyway.they are still calling me at wokr when i fall short of 1-2 days of making the car loan payment. What idiots! Isn't there a law against such harrassment at work? I thought there was.
My husband and I have a car loan through PNC Bank. Our car payment was due on the 26th of the month so we scheduled a payment to be made on the 23rd. Well apparently they attempted to deduct the payment from the wrong bank account, an account that was closed, and the payment bounced back. Their payment website showed that our scheduled payment was made so we were unaware of this error until on the morning of the 28th when the phone calls began in the early morning. My husband and I did not pick up the phone because it was an unfamiliar number. After the phone number showed up on our caller ID repeatedly for 2 days I decided to Google it and came across this page. Once I realized that there was a potential issue with the payment I attempted to sign onto their website to rectify the situation, but of course my online access was suspended so I had to call them personally to have the suspension lifted before I could schedule another payment. Even AFTER I scheduled the new payment they STILL called me! Well needless to say, I was not so pleasant with the person on the phone. Absolutely ridiculous! We've had this car loan for almost 2 years and have never been late with a payment so for them to call repeatedly like this is absolutely uncalled for and unacceptable. Also, if their payment is so important that they need to call repeatedly, why not leave a damn message on my answering machine so I know what the calls are for?!? Why did I have to Google the phone number to find out there was a potential issue with the payment?!? From now on, when buying a car I will make sure that the loan is NOT through PNC Bank!
