received call to my magic jack number not many have this young girl wanted to speak to my wife and said was doing survey rbc refused to give me any details i hung up on her
they called asking about banking imformation and wanted to do a survey on behalf of rbc. Hung up but they got my sin. Reported to wrpd and rcmp
Received call for my husband. They are Market Probe Canada, 1243 Islington Ave, Toronto. Because I was not my husband they would not tell me who their client was regarding the customer satisfaction survey they were conducting. I requested they not contact us again and that they must remove our number from their database. Based on the previous posts I would guess it was for RBC since they are constantly calling us. Worse, this same company called us Sunday night at 6 pm as we were having dinner.
Have been getting regular calls from this number (sometimes twice a day). Reverse lookup identifies the location as Toronto, nothing more. Have requested RBC to remove my number from their calling list, but I presume they sell their client numbers to these marketing companies.I'm also on the No Call list, but it doesn't apply to "research" calls.
Just got the call. This woman tries pronouncing my name 3 times and really didn't ever get it right. Anyway, once I confirmed that I was the person she was asking for, she started to give me the talk about doing the survey to gauge my satisfaction with RBC with whom I just did some financial business with. Hmmmm..... then she asked if I was busy... YES, I am always busy and I told her that I don't do phone surveys. It was Market Probe. She politely asked if she could call another time and I politely said NO. End of conversation. Next time I see my financial advisor I will be telling her to make sure I am not put on any list.
Market Research company. When I told her we were on the Do Not Call list, she said that law didn't apply to them, but she would have our number removed. We'll see. ID says Etobicoke ON.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
