They call all the time.If you don't answer the phone they ring many times. I am very annoyed at our age we should not have to be annoyed by unwanted phone calls.
I told the guy I'M NOT INTERESTED. How ever he just kept on with his scripted bs ignoring my response! At first I thought it was a automated recording but nah it clicked in he was just being a dick. So I just hung up. Wish I had an Air Horn. Maybe then he would have an excuse why he can't hear me. Do those who work for this company think after you ignored me I would even for a second consider your offer? What a loser hope no one accepts him as he doesnt deserve the commission pay.
Got a call from (416) 630-5150, did not pick up and they left no message. Left "NCC Incorporated" on call display. Called back a bit later, connected with voice mail message: Welcome to Newspaper Promotions Call Center, to inquire about our most recent newspaper promotions dial 1, etc. etc. all this crap
I guess they try to market the crappy local newspaper to various provinces. Calling from Ontario, yet trying to sell a subscription to the Telegraph Journal in Saint John, NB. I politely declined, three times, at which point he asked if I was Mrs. Xxxxxx, my mom. I said "No," and he said they'd call and follow up - erm, okay. I'm sure my mother will have no problem telling them that we will never subscribe due to the appalling liberties the writers/editors of the Telegraph Journal take with grammar and spelling.
One more interesting detail: called them back at this number from Skype to disguise myself, got charged by Skype at $0.026 per minute. It's not an openly toll-collect number, but try not to talk to these guys for a long time, they might CHARGE YOU for this call
Hello...get numerous calls from this number. When I answer...they don't..they hang on for a minute or so and if I speak..they hang up. It's very annoying and I would like it to stop!!!
Disturbing - on no call list and still get calls from some people we have no contact with.CRTC needs to check up on these people ---- NOW !!!!!

Got the same thing DM1 reported. So, I just blocked the number and reported it to my phone carrier.
