I am replying to Donna...obviously you didn't read my entire post. I stated that IF they are legimate, then why don't they leave a message and why do they show up as Unknown name? How am I supposed to know that they are helping the disabled? And when did I say im my post that I didn't want to help the disabled? Just because an UNKNOWN number calls me all the time that doesn't mean that they are who or what they say! And I don't believe that questioning the source makes a person ignorant. And you have no idea how many people I may or may not have helped and that is not the concern here but you must be more respectful with your answer. Anyone who is truly there to help will be very forthcoming with the proper identification of their company.

I called them and had my numbers removed from their list and I made sure I talked to a human. Here's hoping it worked. You should try it too if you are annoyed by these people's constant calling.

Added them to my new Panasonic phones call blocking list feature. Today they tested it out for me. One ring and they were stomped.I really shouldn't have to do this though. I'm on the DNC list and these people are supposedly calling FOR a charity rather than actually BEING a charity. These guys are a for-profit company and that's what the DNC is supposed to protect me from, right?

They have called three times a day for the last two weeks...Same thing happened about two months ago.I called the company directly and asked them to never call me again . That was two months ago ... So much for "Their" Do Not Call List ...Guess I will just have to pay Bell and use their call block feature ..

I got a call from this number on my cell phone..... all the way in VANCOUVER. I could barely understand the person on the other end and still don't know which apparent charity they were supposed to be representing. I did understand there would be a "truck in my neighbourhood". I asked if she was aware she was calling Vancouver in British Columbia. Dead silence. What kind of a charity calls for donations from across the country? I get these kinds of calls all the time but they are usually local. Charity does begin at home.

I agree with you...if they are legit they why do they show up as UNKNOWN..and why not leave a message? That way if I am interested I will call THEM. I am not convinced they are really a charity...but it is annoying to be called so many times in the day.

got duped bc i wasn't totally listening jst heard childrens wish foundation, so i said yes but got suspicious after hanging up so i looked it up and lo and behold...the rest is in all the messages before mine hahadon't fall for it!
