Upon picking up phone caller disconnected. I called the number back and the prompt stated that the company Recycling Rewards was calling on behalf of the Children's Wish Foundation. I pressed 2 to get my phone number off their list. I feel sorry for the company as the callers seem to hesitate to speak; therefore inefficient service and productivity.
just a few smart [***] harassing everyone in the directory, and playing us like fiddles. Picking up your goods for free and selling them at discount prices. Brilliant.
This group picks up our used clothes and sells for profit. They donate some of the proceeds for the tax deduction. To get business, they use the guise of "Children's Wish Foundation" or whatever charity we feel sorry for...The charity gets free, albeit limited money without spending any dollars.A shameful for profit business...lucrative for their company.
I left two messages asking how much actually goes to Children's Wish and no one has responded. I guess that says it all.
Received a call from this number - did not recognize so did not pick up.Would not donate to them regardless of the charity they allegedly represent. If I wanted to donate to Community Living then I would go over to the local Community Living Chapter and donate. This goes for all the reps standing outside along Yonge St. Bay St. where ever - in Dtwn Toronto. I will not give to any of those reps on the street. IF I want to donate to a charity I will do so on my own accord - not by being solicited by some nobody on the street or on the phone. Its MY money It's MY choice. (that goes for those people soliciting for donations in Union Station too! - don't solicit me for my change Its MY coffee money and I will make the choice to donate to a charity)

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
