im at school and 4173391260 calls me... i almost got my phone taken... its really making me angry!!!!

I have also been receiving these phone calls after signing up to win a car! I finally answered today and they hung up on me. Then, called me right back and told me that I won an 80% discount for a vacation in Branson!? However, I have to be over the age of 25 or have someone 25 or older call in for me to have them put it in their name so I can still go. Sounds shady...anyone have this happen yet?

We have the same experienced with these calls. I signed up a raffle ticket to win a car at the mall, then this number called me many times in my house until she catched me around 5pm. She said the same thing like she said to you, but since I am over 25 y. o She offer me the promo of their hotel and some coupons for Branson and want me to pay her $139 right away so she can reserve my stay there. That made me uncomfortable. There was no proof of winning or whatever. I told her to send me the hotel catalogs and the coupons then I will send her a check. She said she will. We will see. If I could not get any this might be a scam.

I keep getting this call. They call me, never leave a message, and no one is on the other end when i pick up. What's going on??? I entered a drawing to win a mini cooper at a Sportsmans show in Minneapolis, so it sounds like that is the common thread and that's how they are getting people's numbers.

I've been receiving the same thing after signing up for a car raffle at the St. Louis GOlf Show in St. Charles a few weeks back.

I am so reluctant to giving out my cell number...but I did recently after signing up for free stuff at the latest Home and Garden Show in Cleveland. I did put in my ticket for a free car...gosh, I hate scams..never again. Can not get anything for free! I seriously doubt that there are any real "winners" for any of these contest...it is just a lead list for the sales people.The number calling me daily and I do not answer:417-339-1260Actually there are many other numbers calling this week since I enterd all those "contests." What this is, living close to Branson is, they give you 2 nights three days stay in Branson with free meals and or show tickets or cash. The only thing you have to do is purchase that package for a discounted rate and set in on a demonstration for timeshares. The wife and I do this quite often because I have an easy time saying no. The trick is to say " I think your selling a great product but it just isn't for me". Hope this helps!

Missed this call this morning...after reading these I do recall signing up for a FREE vacation to Branson when I was at Omaha Boat Show couple weeks back...NO THANKS if i am going to get daily calls like some of you!
