Got two calls from this number today. angry Indian man, shouting at me about how my computer was infected by a virus and that I needed to pay attention and give him my details. I hung up, he called back, and I when I started asking who he was, I hung up.

Quite calling me!

I just received a call from this phone number from someone claiming they were from a computer services office and said I had malicious virus on my computer. When I asked where they were calling from he repeated a computer service company - no name given. He then proceeded to ask if I wanted to marry him tonight! I yelled some profanity at him and hung up. I swear people have nothing better to do with their time!

Got a call from this number this afternoon, claiming to be Microsoft and wanted me to turn on my computer because it had been compromised, some junk like that.

I got a call this morning from this number and told them I didn't use windows... they told me they had detected a problem with my computer and asked if I had used windows so I told them no and they hung up.

I received a call from an Asian accented lady from this number who said she is receiving signals that my computer has thousands of virus. I replied "oh really ma'am, and let me guess u want to help me remove them". Needless to say, she hung up.

I get calls periodically (approx once per month) since start of year. Identical to the reports, these are VoIP calls funnelled over a front North American phone number. The story is the same ... East Asian accented man complaining that your computer is full of viruses and is spamming his company network. He is willing to walk you through, over the phone, how to correct the problem. Do not believe him ... IT is just a scam.

I live in rural Saskatchewan and received a call from this number today. Again, it was someone with a heavy Indian accent telling me of all things that he was from the Mexican immigration office and "neededinformation about my computer" ya right. I asked him to repeat what he said....and he did.... then I hung up.I wish there was a law to prohibit this trash from operating.

I had a call from this number 425-668-9652 yesterday (February 6th, 2014). Again someone saying their name was a typical Canadian / American name but with a south Asian accent. He told me that hackers had my information because of use of shopping on line (which I don't do), Facebook activity (I don't have a Facebook account), Netflicks (I don't have or use) etc. I told him I had just upgraded my security / virus checker system and didn't have the time as I was too busy to listen any further to him and I hung up. Thank goodness for caller id and the phone log. I will be reporting this to the local RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) as that is my local police force here in New Brunswick. I wonder how many others have been taken in and have had their lives ruined because of this scam artist? I wonder if there is anything we can do to stop this?

I have received calls from two numbers with people with Indian or Asian accents demanding I purchase a product from them - saying Microsoft (not really claiming they're with Microsoft) - they show up as Canada from one number and Washington Call from another. The Washington number is 1-425-668-9652 and780-628-7507 is the other - says Edmonton AB on my caller ID. These people will NOT STOP CALLING. I requested to speak to a supervisor and they hung up on me. I called the number back and got a voice mail - and left a NASTY message. Finally got someone at the Edmonton number to listen to me and threatened to call the FCC and law enforcement on them. Thought they'd stop, but they started using another number from Edmonton AB instead. This is VERY annoying.
