I called the number and told them to leave a message as I usually don't pick up if I don't know the number.I am O-neg so they need this blood especially for new bornes. It is a noble thing they do. Most are vollenteers. Don't give these people crap. If you do you are the worst of asshats.Sonic Todd
Also they won't leave a message unless you tell them it is OK. I did that. I will donate another pint next week.
You need to remove your cranium from your anal orfice, as it's giving you a skewed and sh***y outlook on life. If you check them out the PSBC is the blood bank of the Northwest, as there is no Red Cross blood bank here. Also PSBC acts more responsibly with donations and supporting UW and other local research institutions. You'll change your tune when YOU are the one needing their services and others have your attitude. Stop and think what you're posting.
I am on the no call list and this number still calls me all the time. Does anybody know who they are?
@Panda89 Please read a few posts above you.It is the Puget Sound Blood Center. If you need to be removed from their list, use the number that Amy listed just three posts above yours. If you are on the list because you donated blood before, HUGE kudos to you. Please do so again, you really don't know how much difference you can make!
Please try to remember that this is a non-profit company doing a wonderful service for the community. In addition to blood donations, which help people survive in hospitals every day, the Puget Sound Blood Center also works with the National Bone Marrow Registry, to help those suffering from illnesses which require bone marrow transplants. I realize that receiving multiple calls per day is annoying, but consider that it takes over 900 individual donations per day, in the Seattle area alone, to keep up with demand in hospitals. PSBC is doing the best it can to keep up with that demand, and to insure that if you ever need a blood transfusion, that blood will be available.
Its the Puget Blood Center. They are probably calling to remind you of your next scheduled donation or they are asking you to donate again. They are really friendly and are calling for a good cause, so call them back and schedule a donation :)
My husband has been donating blood for more than, 15 years, didn't realize this was your number. He will be in soon, he's pretty diligent. And I might add the poor man hates needles...lol! Thank you John Reagan for your post!
