My house recieves calls from PSBC like 5 times a day. It's soooooooooooo annoying. I just emailed John, the guy who's in charge of PSBC, to remove me from the caller list and I am waiting for a reply. I wish they would just lay up on their obsessive calling!!!!!!!!! I'm definatally NEVER going to donate blood to them!!!!!!!
I get about three calls a day. Today I added that number to my reject list in my cell phone. I realize it's for an important cause and will donate on my own. I don't need to be called all day.
it's incredible that someone would withold an altruistic act out of spite of a less-than-perfect call center. the solution has been offered. your donation is valuable, don't hate!
I keep getting calls from this # - 425-732-3247. I tried to donate blood a few weeks ago and am now in their system. I am not eligible to donate so need to be taken off their list.
When we were getting the PSBC on our caller ID we assumed it was telemarketers from a bank or other financial pests. After seeing the 1-425-732-3247 come up today I Googled it and and found this site. Tonight we received another call from this number and was greeted by the nicest person imaginable. My daughter has a rare blood type and is always pestering me to go with her to give blood. So we have three of us going tomorrow to donate. Figure I would rather be pestered by such nice polite people than my daughters ability to make me feel so guilty...lol
I get at least 10 calls a night and all day and all weekend and all the time!! An absolute nightmare!!
Yes, its the Puget Sound Blood Bank, either tell them you no longer want to be notified when there is a need for blood and they will remove you from the national calling list, or your can make an appointment and give some of that blood you don't need since it recreates itself.
sbc advocate writes "A phone call is nothing compared to saving lives and to people who really do need it."Sure, a single phone call or the simple courtesy of leaving a message would be "nothing." For those of us who work nights and sleep during the day, multiple phone calls during the day, sometimes several within one hour, are not "nothing." Even if it's a worthy non-profit, if they take on the tactics of a shady telemarketer they're getting placed on my blocked call list. I'm not hurting the people who need blood; they are.
