I often donate to PSBB and will continue to do so. In this day and age, spam happens. I do not answer calls I do not recognize. No harm, no foul. They will fix this issue, I'm sure. I will continue to help others with my rare blood type, period. I'm urging everyone who donates to continue doing so. It does save lives. And if it's not your thing, please don't urge others to stop giving. Someone saved my son's life, and I'd like to believe some stupid calls would not have prevented that.Sincerely,Sam
I received a call from them asking for my late husband (passed away over 2 2/1 years ago) wanting him to donate blood. He used to do that when he was alive and I know this is a legit call, just using a very old database. Hope this helps....
Please! Someone take me off their calling list!! They must call 3-4 times/day. I want them to stop calling.
This has been going on since 2007 and you folks are still calling people several times a day forever? What a joke.I'll donate blood when you stop calling me.

Thank you John for posting. I was getting concerned that I keep getting these calls. I don't answer any call unless i know who it's from. Now I know. Best wishes for your blood center and I'll make it a point to sign up for the next donation time when they come to my work. Best wishes.
I followed the instructions from Mr Reagan's posting of April 2008 and spoke to a very helpful person at PSBC who explained how these automated phone calls can happen. He was happy to get me on the Do Not Call list. I'm a gallon donor who has to be choosy when I donate, so emails are better for me than calls, to explain "why I don't just donate" instead of getting annoyed at automated phone calls.
It's fairly easy to answer the phone or call back and get them to please take you off the list. I don't know why this is such an issue. If this is something to complain about I would say life must be pretty good for you.
Just to mention - even if you do answer, even if you make an appointment and even if you try to be nice... they keep calling. I am getting 4 calls a day at this point - AFTER I asked to be taken off their list. I'm never giving blood again after the treatment I have received at the hands of these vampires.
