Okay everybody. I answered it. It wasn't a call asking me to vote for anything, he first said there would just be one question. Then he asked if I had voted in the last election cycle. When I replied he said some things about the election and asked if he could call me back on this number after which I heard my telephone number read out by a computer. I kept my answers to a minimum as well as any conversation. After picking up I immediately wanted to hang up. He did ask if he could call back on my number in the next several months. I do not understand what this mint as the election will be over in less than 30 days. Personally I would not answer this number again. I am laid up at the house and have no people that visit me so I was bored and that's the only reason I answered it in the first place. I had seen this number come up once before so I decided to answer it and see what an idiot would call me after 7 o'clock at night. Now I wonder what idiot would have answered the phone from an unknown caller after 7 o'clock at night! Lol.
I got a call from "INFORMED ELECTO.." . I answered and immediately pressed as many buttons on my phone as quickly as I could for about 30 seconds. This was a few weeks ago and I haven't been bothered since.
The first couple of times they just ask you a single question. The first time it was "Did you vote in the last presidential election?". The second time it was "Who do you think should have more control over your daily life, the states or the federal government?". The third time they were wanting my credit card or checking account info to make a $20 donation. They would not provide their legal PAC name or what agenda they were advocating. SCAM!
Anita was telling susan she was rude to tell people they are dumb for answering unknown calls. That is the people's choice, not susan's to dictate to others. Maybe she will have better luck telling her kids what to do, if they listen.
I did not hear any calls - my system blocked it. God bless technology! But, I see on the list of blocked calls, this trash called at 7:30 am on the weekend. Legitimate call??? My as******!!!
I do not know who came up the thought that if you do not answer your phone, then the spammers will think it is 'not a real number'. That is so wrong. A non working number will give a response that states it is not in service.
New variation on getting you to say the word yes scam disguised as voting survey. Block the number.
