Well the truth is that if you choose do to business with a company you should read the fine print. You can bet that there is something there that says they can call you. That said, it was a phone call...block it if you don't want to talk to them.
So I've read all 13 pages about this number. So let me get this straight.. it's godaddy and danica patrick is gonna call me? awesome. I'm still unclear on whether it's godaddy and how they have my number and whois and all that. No, I don't want to re-read posts. Just make me a new one, please. thanks.
I got a voicemail on my cell and haven't even purchased anything from them. They thanked me for a purchase...anyone else get this?
Repeated calls to both of my cell numbers. I've been a godaddy customer for years, with dozens of domains. Switching to google. This has been ridiculous. Had to block the number.
yes, this is Go Daddy. They basically use your account status, whatever it may be, as a reason to call and, after the perfunctory niceties, try to cross sell another product or service. Sometimes there is a legitimate issue regarding your account. And some people might actually find the call to be helpful or beneficial. Personally, my problem isn't the call, it's the frequency of the calls. They're pretty relentless. If you don't answer and go through the dance, they call back again. And again. And again. You be the judge as to whether this is proper behavior for a company. Personally, I don't like it when someone calls unexpectedly and tries to sell me something on the phone. I don't like telephone sales, period. But judging from some of the posts, others feel it's perfectly acceptable.
Have dealt with GoDaddy for years. The make lots of calls. And the PIN that is registered on their site is also used on the phone. They always ask for it. I'm comfortable with this, as that is how it has always been.
I called too a few minutes ago. The said it was not a Go Daddy number. So it must be a tele marketer pretending to be from Go Daddy!
It don't think it is GoDaddy - I have never dealt with them, yet I am finding this number has called my cell phone several times a week for the past month. I had not noticed them earier. I always have my calls go to VM, and they have never left a message.I got my number in early April, previous owner of this number must have financial problems as I had been recieveing multiple calls per day from collection agencies in regards to him. The calls have tapered down now, but I am still getting several calls a week for him from collection agencies. The calls from 480-505-8859 only recently started and I suspect it is another collection agency trying to reach the former owner of my phone number.
