I can't believe everyone is complaining, as I would have lost some good domain names without calls and on top of that, GoDaddy has the best customer service I've seen with ANY company - they are always knowledgeable and solve my problem right away and are always polite and genuinely helpful.I think these guys can only call on breaks or slow times and that's how they make extra money - who can blame them?
Call several times a day....I do not answer unfamiliar/blocked calls. Next time I will pick up and then lay the phone down and let them waste their time...and tie up a line....once they figure it out...then they take you off their list.
Yes, it's unreasonable. If I want contact with my host, I'll call them. Otherwise they can accomplish what they want with an email.
Constant calls from GoDaddy, annoying and I don't want additional services! Matter of fact considering cancelling service with them because of annoying calls!
I concur- it's a completely warranted phone call provided they aren't hassling you about spending more money with them on a frequent basis- that are afterall, a business- and considering they probably only make 20$ a year per customer, it probably helps to try to double that offer by informaing you of their other services- within reason.
Yes, I just canceled my last product with GoDaddy due to $$--not their problem. But they have called five times in the last two days and NEVER leave a message. That is freakin' annoying! I don't need to spend two minutes telling them the same thing I left in my comments when canceling service. Yes, I would go back to GoDaddy. But the phone... :/
Wow- I don't think I have seen a larger population of idiots in one location. Chris, you should probably give up talking to them reasonably :)YOU all purchased domains from them. They are simply calling to ask if you need any assistance in setting up your website. Did you know 50% of registered domain names are NEVER developed into a site because of lack of knowledge??? They are not offering any additional services, unless you ask specifically. They call within the accepted hours of 8am-9pm. They actually have a dialer system that is programmed to meet the FCC requirements.
Yes, I am a customer, and my problem isn't that they call. My problem is that they called four times. Today. Left zero messages. That would annoy anyone I'm reasonably sure.
So.. is this where everybody's hanging out?! Cool!Who knows who it is. I don't answer, they don't leave a message. I've had two calls today, about 4 in May, and another bunch last Dec. I am a GoDaddy customer, tho, so maybe that's where they filched my number.
Just received a call from this number and found out is was Godaddy - didnt really care if they were calling to see if I was satisfied with the service I was just annoyed because the number caled twice and no message was left - makes the company look a little sleazy, telemarketish - guess it's the age of the robot
