I am registered in the Do Not Call, but continue to get phone calls from political campaigners, telemarketers. The latest caller was from 480-649-2753 who persisted they were not telemarketers and insisted on asking me questions on abortion. I insisted they take me off their list, hang up, and never call me back. The person on the other end tried to talk over me and finally hung up.What is this do not call list if it doesn’t carry any weight with stopping these call and disturbing my life. And, What is this list if Politicians can circumvent this list and call you anyway. The current group behind 480-649-2753 needs shut down, Now!

Calls but doesn't leave a message

I've been getting daily calls from 480-649-2753. I answered the first call a few months ago and it was a political solicitation. Since then, I haven't answered any of the calls and they never leave messages on voice mail. I am on the do-not-call list.

Calls almost daily ... different times of the day ... lately in the evening. No message left . Says Mesa, AZ on caller ID

I received a call from this number "POLITICAL CALL 480-649-2753" on 12/10/09 around 7:45pm. I said "hello" several times, and then heard a bunch of clicking sounds and then the line went dead. I just had another call from this number again about an hour ago. This time there was a man on the line. He asked whether I was pro-life or pro-choice, and I said I was in the middle, depends on the situation.He then tried to get me to donate $25 or $50 to their cause in fighting the "Freedom of Choice bill". I said that I couldn't at this time, and then he said that he would then like for me to write my congresspeople and ask them to not let this bill go through, etc. I said I would think about it. He then took it had an opportunity to give me some "facts". He gave me numbers of 4000 abortions a day are performed... I said that I believed abortion was necessary for woman and girls who are raped. He said they understood, and that only 10-15 of those 4000 were "necessary every day". He then said he had spoken to a woman who is a surgical nurse in an operating room that performs abortions and that they only perform 3-5 necessary abortions DAILY. I asked where this woman was at: in a big city, in a small town, where? And then CLICK! He hung up on me. He had gotten a little irate as the call was progressing and he knew I wasn't going to side with him. I did a phone number look up and found the same information as a lot of people before me have found:-number registered to a John C Wilson 7340 E. Rochelle Circle, Mesa AZ. -when calling the number back, a voicemail comes on and says that it is PCC, or Political Call Center, helping non-profits, etc.

I looked this up on reverse white pages, the address is for a "Political Center" at 1201 S. Alma School Road in Mesa, AZ. I looked that up on mapquest and that address belongs to Bank Of America. I am filling an FCC complaint and I suggest you all do the same. This is a coward who is hiding behind a phony front to spew his ideas, he is not at all legitimate as a political org.

started this week calling me, i do not answer, and they leave no voice mail, i have been getting calls from both numbers listed above any time of the day
