Got a phone call from 480-999-1234. They just hung up but they call everyday, sometimes more than once a day.
Started receiving calls yesterday, thought it was odd and found this site. Thank you JTR for the FTC site. I just logged my complaint, hope someone somewhere can do something about this. I will not answer the calls now that I know about this. Thanks all for the information.
repeated calls...spanish voice says something unclear and repeats it. When I ask who is calling..they hang up. Am on the "no call" list.
We have gotten several of these calls asking for my spouse. When we speak, they just hang up. It has been both men and women who speak in Spanish. I wonder how they got our number and why they are choosing to use it. I sounds like it is time for a call to the proper authorities. It would seem they would have better things to do. I know they are from Arizona-either from Phoenix or Chantle?
This # keeps calling me...I say hello, they speak Spanish/Mexican, I say hello or "speak English"...they hang-up! it's getting ridiculous. Can't call back, invalid #.Possible solution to this caller...It may take a little effort on you part, but...look up you Congressman's address, and have it on hand, when they ask for your address to send you the calling card, give them the Congressman's ! See if they like it.Number is a phantom Number, If they have a business system (multi# Phone), they can program any #/Name into it to show on our Caller ID. (I have received calls from "Heaven" & "GOD" at 111-000-1111).I worked for Verizon for years and unfortunately, the only free recourse the general public has is a forum such as this. Unless someone gets their company name and address. In which case we start calling them!If anyone finds a way to stop this caller, please return to this site and tell us how you did it...thanks
I've gotten these calls for months. I filed a formal complaint online and they sent me a form letter saying there is nothing they can do b/c they aren't doing anything illegal. I am on the Do Not Call list too, so isn't it illegal for them to call me? I don't know what to do.
Call at least 4-5 times a day. And that's on a good day!! Sometimes they call every hour! Wasn't on the DNC but I am now. Haven't picked up because I thought for some reason that if I picked up, it would verify that someone lives here and would only make them call more; which obviously is ridiculous.
