You’re an idiot!!! Just because somebody speaks a foreign language, doesn't mean they are no citizens!!!

I just got a call from 480-999-1234. A man spoke Spanish to me and asked for me by my name. That is about all the spanish I understand. I asked him what he wanted and to speak English but he hung up. I get at least one Spanish language call a month asking for me by name. That is the problem having a Spanish last name! I have received in the mail Spanish language flyers from Sprint, Brighthouse cable and Bank of America. One of the callers spoke enough English to admit he was calling on behalf of Bank of America! Apparently even if you are on the do not call list a business has the right to call you if you have done business with them within a certain time frame.

they either don't say anything or speak spanish. I have had both men and women call.

Repeated calls. When we don't pick up, they don't leave a message. If we pick up, they ask, "Habla espanol?" When we say know, they just hang up.

Called number and recorded message claimed the number was no longer in service? Another call shortly thereafter came in with a non-sensical # on my caller ID (ooo-111-3333), I picked up phone and a Spanish speaking woman answered who could not speak in English. I keep saying 'hello', they say 'hola'. I am on the FTC do-not-call list?! This sounds similar to the outfit that has been trying to scam the members of the credit union I belong to!

they called about 11 AM, 08/05/08, my machine answred, they hung up

Had a lady today. And she was speaking in spanish. And I dont much spanish. But I know how to say "yes and mama" in spanish. No I idea how to spell it. But after I was talking to her, she hung called. I called back and the # was no longer in service... I wanted to mess with them sooo bad. But that bi*tch hung up.

I actually called the FCC today to file a complaint about this number. They told me that I can also file a complaint with my local police department so that if something does come about with this number, it will be on record that I was receiving harrassing phone calls.Unfortunatley they don't think that it is a company that is calling so the DO NOT CALL list doesn't play in this situation. Also, if it has been more than 5 years since you signed up for the do not call list then you need to sign up again.I'm hoping that they find out who this is and stop the calling.... it is driving me crazy!!
