Said they were from Microsoft Windows support

Called no message sick to death of unsolicited calls waking me up

Same here 8-12 times a day. They call on another if you block one number.

It was a recording stating that it was the legal dept. of the IRS and it was my last chance to get in touch with them. I hung up knowing it was a total scam.

got the same thing as brad did, they were telling me that my home computer was getting viruses.

A man called with very broken english telling me that he was with Windows, he said for the last few days my computer has been downloading virus. Then he asked me if i am in front of my computer. I told him no i am at work and he became rude demanding that i answer about being in front of my computer. I hung up.

It is a scam! Hang up. I work in IT industry for the past 25 years......Microsoft is not going to call you about viruses. Just saying! :-)

Mumbai mafia Windows support scam.

Some idiot with broken English trying to Scam me on the fact he was from "Microsoft Windows". I was being less than friendly with him and he eventually called me "Sweetheart" and hung up.
