I received a phone call from an individual purportedly named Nathan , who had a pronounced Indian accent and said his was with Microsoft's Technical Department. As I have received similar phone calls, I knew the call was more than likely originating from the scam firm known as Global Tech. As they use a variety of different numbers, it seems impossible to block them. I told Nathan that I would again complete a Microsoft Technical Scam Report. It's hard to understand why these guys can't be shut down.
First call 9:10 am next call, 10:02 am, another at 10:17 am---- I do not answer numbers I do not recognize & cannot leave a message but this is getting annoying--- happens at least once a day now, if not more & DNC list does not help with these bloodsuckers!
The DNC only helps you if they are a legitimate company operating in the US. Foreign companies PRETENDING to be from the US can't be controlled. And it will not stop illegal organizations or scammers as they are already breaking the law and don't care!
By a call blocker. Doesn't stop all calls but really helps and the one I have even if they have gotten through you can block the number so they can't get through again
Jesus Christ I have figured it out - this asshats are getting these numbers from payday loan applications. YOU didn't even have to apply for the loan yourself - someone with the number before you or someone doing it out of spite by sharing your number online.Just hang up - they are recycling the same group of numbers in hopes that someone different, more gullible will be on the other end of the line. No use reporting it because they are going off of PDL lists.
Ask to stop calling the man with accent kept asking me why!!! Over and over can't deal with this I don't even own a computer!

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
